April 2008:
An Executive Order was issued by Governor Steve Beshear appointing Virginia "JoAnn" Pensinger, Frankfort, Kentucky, to represent consumers. Ms. Pensinger's term will expire February 2010. Stephen W. Boyd, Owensboro, was appointed to represent salon owners. Mr. Boyd's term will expire February 2010.
We welcome Ms. Pensinger and Mr. Boyd to the Board!
There may have been some misleading information provided by an online provider of continuing education. LICENSEES ARE NOT REQUIRED TO OBTAIN 6 HOURS OF CONTINUING EDUCATION ONLINE! You may obtain your continuing education by attending approved educational classes in your area.
