Effective Immediately: 

The use of credo blades is prohibited in any salon licensed by this board.  The use of credo blades is considered a practice of podiatry that must be performed by a licensed podiatrist.  Any licensee of this board found performing this practice in a salon will be subject to investigation and disiplinary action to be determined by the board.

Changes in Examinations (Effective May 2011):
Written & Practical Exam results will no longer be given the day of the exam.  Licenses will no longer be issued the day of the exam.  Exam results will be posted to the applicants HNS Licensure System (www.hnslicense.net) account 24-48 hrs after the day of examination. Applicants will receive instructions on how to view their results with their notice for examination.  These instructions will also explain how to purchase a license in the event of successful completion of the exam or how to apply to retake a failed examination.
